These are the forum rules for in character posts. Please follow OOC rules even when posting in character.
- 5 SentencesW
All posts must be at least five sentences long. This is to make sure that there is enough to reply to and to help your general writing and role playing abilities. You will get a few warnings but if you continue to have too short of posts your characters will be unaccepted until you can be sure to make long enough posts.
- Limited OOC TalkA
If you must put out of character text in role play posts please put [ooc] Ooc character text here. in front of it so that it is not mistaken for in character talk. Try to avoid posting completely ooc text in the role play boards, after all you can PM or talk in the cbox if you need to tell the other posters int he thread something.
- FightingR
Please don't be too graphic in fighting, but it is allowed to an extent. Please be realistic, cats get hurt in fights so don't make yours come away free. If your cat is fighting than you and the other cat's role player must agree on a winner. If you can not agree then simply ask a staff member and they will judge it based on general role playing ability and other such things.
- Mating/ RapingR
Do not be graphic about mating, please. You can role play it if you would like, but put something like [Mating] in the title so that people have a fair warning before they read something that they'd rather not.
Currently rape is allowed, but you must have the permission of the role player of the cat that is being raped to have your cat rape theirs. If there is too much going on I will take this away, so please, please limit it. - BirthingI
Again, try not to be entirely graphic about this. YOu can role play it if you would like, but I want it to be realistic. So probably if you're going to be graphic I reccomend that you have given birth before and have seen kittens being born because otherwise you don't know enough about it to be graphic.
- No God Mode or Power PlayO
Do not ever gode mode or power play at all. Power playing is controlling another person's character without permission. If they give you permission (like it's in a fight and it would be easier that way) then you may, but only for that one thread and probably just for that one post. God moding is where your character can't be injured. If your character is in a fight and you never let it get even a little bit of blood drawn then I will tell you to change it. Even the winner of a fight gets injured.
- Proper Grammar and SpellingR
Please try to use proper grammar and spell correctly. If you are having trouble with this write out your posts in Microsoft Word or a similar program beofre posting them. It will check it for grammatical and spelling erorros for you. This doesn't mean that you have to have perfect spelling all the time, I make typos a lot actually, but if there's something wrong in every single post then there's a problem.
- Be RealisticS
The world of a feral cat is not easy. Make your character miss what it's hunting every now and then, have them get cold and tired and sick. If your character never has anything bad happen to it then you are pretty much god moding so keep things realistic. Also, use details in your post. Cats don't just sit there, they twitch their ears, wave their tails, look around. You can include stuff like the amount of wind and temperature as well, details help lengthen your posts.
- Take Turns
If you are in a thread with more than two people please be sure to take turns posting. Don't skip another player's turn just because they aren't online. If you're waiting then feel free to make new threads, after all the more the merrier I always say. And of course, don't double post at all.
